Surgeries!

This is going to be quite a week.  With the start of the new year, I’m going to get some repairs taken care of.

I’ll be having heart surgery done on Monday morning at 9:00am at Medical Center of Plano.  According to my Cardiologist, the Catheter Ablation procedure is a very simple procedure and is nothing to worry about.  As well, my condition is not fatal, it’s more of an inconvenience.  However, since I’ve been running more, it’s been happening a lot more.  That’s why I’m getting this inconvenience taken care of.

I have a great peace about me as I place my trust in Jesus Christ.  To learn more about what will be happening, you can check out http://markdaddy.blogspot.com/2008/12/great-way-to-spend-2-hours-and-10.html, http://my.clevelandclinic.org/heart/services/tests/procedures/ablation.aspx, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catheter_ablation.

Since I’m quite the over-achiever and it’s the best time to do it as I won’t be travelling, I’m having my feet operated on as well.  I’m having bone spurs removed from the top of both of my feet on Thursday at 8:00am.  My high arched feet along with the running has created the bone spurs.  They’ve been quite painful and I cannot wait to get them removed.   I’ll be able to slowly get back into running after about 3 weeks.

Thanks for everyone’s prayers as I’ve already been touched by the outreach!
