I'm taking the plunge! I've signed up for my first Half Marathon (13.1 miles) in Dallas on November 2nd. I have enjoyed running so much and feel so confident that I know that I can do this. It will be some good, fun hard work involved, but I'm looking forward to this challenge.
To prepare to run the Half Marathon, I have signed up with the Dallas Running Club. They have a Half Marathon Training Program to prepare you for the Half Marathon. I'm so excited to be a part of this club and program! I cannot wait to get started.
I weighed in at 180 pounds on Friday. I've lost 25+ pounds since the first of the year. I've never felt this good about my body and my new healthy lifestyle.
I never thought that I'd have this on my blog, but I've added a new element on the right to show my Running Race Schedule! How crazy does that sound??
As usual, I'll keep you posted on my running and progress. I'm looking forward to seeing both Debbie and Denise in Cincinnati for my first 5K in less than 3 weeks. I'm so ready for it!
